Netflix Announces Magic: The Gathering Anime Series With Russo Brothers

Netflix and Wizards of the Coast do an anime show.

Dave Newberg, Eric Calderon, and todd Makurath will create the series along with Isaac Krauss and executive producers Mike Larocca. Henry Gilroy (Star Wars Rebels, Star Wars: The Clone Wars) and Jose Molina (The Tick, Agent Carter) are requested with writing the script. According to specifics about Magic: The Gathering anime show, Russo Brothers will executive produce the show. In a recently released statement, the group shared how excited they are to work on the show and verified they are lifelong lovers of Magic: The Gathering too.

“We’ve been huge fans and gamers of all Magic: The Gathering for so long as it’s existed, so being in a position to bring these tales to life through animation is an actual passion job for us,” the Russo Brothers said. Yes, that is perfect. Netflix and Wizards of the Coast do an anime show based on the card match, along with the Russo Brothers are leaping on board the job.

“HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT TIME: Netflix and Wizards of the Coast are teaming up with Joe and Anthony Russo to make a Magic: The Gathering anime series and this teaser of Chandra has me requesting QUESTIONS,” Netflix tweeted previously now. Thus far, there are just a few facts out about the job, but it is going to revolve around the expansive universe of Magic: The Gathering and its own Planeswalker, that can be called Magic’s unique magic-wielding heroes and villains as they compete with bets bigger than any 1 planet may hold.
