Irrespective of getting a lukewarm reception from the audience, Netflix’s Avatar: The Last Airbender stands tall in the category of music in comparison to M. Night Shyamalan’s adaptation. According to Screenrant, M. Night Shyamalan’s 2010 movie featured a well-written score by James Newton Howard but failed to pay tribute to Jeremy Zuckerman’s musical composition.

From the iconic theme of Avatar to the spell-binding tones of the Fire Nation, award-winning Japanese-American composer Takeshi Furukawa has faithfully included Zuckerman’s work in Netflix’s Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Daniel Dae Kim plays the character of Lord Ozai in the live-action adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender. Star Wars actor Mark Hamill has been the voice behind the character of Lord Ozai in the animated version of Avatar: The Last Airbender ever since its inception. During an interview with GQ, Daniel Dae Kim spoke about his encounter with Mark Hamill. He said-

“We’ve never met, but we actually had a nice little Instagram exchange because he saw an interview answer that I gave regarding him. He saw a clip and said thank you, so I responded and said it was all true. I have a lot of respect for him, not just as Luke Skywalker, of course, but he’s one of our greatest voice actors.”

Daniel Dae Kim is excited to play the character of Lord Ozai in the live-action adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender. While talking about the character of Lord Ozai, he said-

“A descent into madness sounds like juicy territory for an actor, and it’s not something I’ve explored before on screen. Should we be lucky enough to get a season 2, I look forward to those conversations. Nothing is inevitable in this business and in this industry climate, but there seems to be a lot of excitement about it.”
