New Marvel Characters Who Have Appeared or Will Appear in Upcoming MCU Projects
The Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Phase 4 has introduced and will continue to introduce a slew of new characters, and here is a list of those who have been confirmed so far. The MCU will get a facelift in Phase 4 now that the Infinity Saga is complete. The days of Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) and Captain America (Chris Evans) heading the Marvel Cinematic Universe are over, and their absence allows other characters to take their place. Over the past several years, Marvel Studios has unveiled the complete Phase 4 slate, which currently includes all films and Disney+ series that were released between Black Widow and Captain Marvel 2. Many of the films include famous characters, including Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Spider-Man (Tom Holland), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman), and Captain Marvel (Brie Larson). After previously appearing as supporting characters, Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), Falcon (Anthony Mackie), Loki (Tom Hiddleston), and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) have been given the opportunity to star on Disney+. The MCU’s ability to lose some of its biggest heroes while still having a variety of stars stems from the franchise’s broad structure and capacity to regularly introduce new characters. Unsurprisingly, this will continue in Phase 4 as Marvel aims to release additional Disney+ series following the success of their previous ones.
