However, it appears that there is one set of folks who are relieved Tom Brady has left the Buccaneers for good.
The previous season did not go too well for TB12. In fact, many would describe it as awful, since he had his worst season in practically every metric. His off-field issues, particularly his divorce from Gisele Bündchen, appear to have hampered his effectiveness on the pitch. When he resigned and took those difficulties with him, it appears that a number of Bucs fans breathed a sigh of relief.

According to NFL insider Mike Florio, Tom Brady‘s retirement has several players feeling relieved and optimistic about the next season. “What a mess of distractions last year with everything that was going on with Brady,” he stated on WDAE sports radio station. “And to be free of that, to be beyond it, I believe a lot of [Bucs] will feel relieved, refreshed, and recharged this year.”
Of course, Florio acknowledges that the players will not say it publicly. However, he feels that is a prevalent feeling in the Buccaneers’ locker room.
“They’re not going to say it, but I think they’re going to feel it, and I think that’s good for the Buccaneers.”
TB12 is preparing to return to the NFL in a new capacity
Brady may have retired from playing football, but his involvement in the NFL is far from over. The last time he retired, he signed a 10-year, $375 million contract with Fox Sports to be their lead analyst. Now that he has finally and definitively hung up his cleats, he is all set to enter a whole new side of the NFL. One that he’s never experienced before.
Knowing Tom Brady, it will not take him long to get accustomed to game-calling. In fact, his 22 years of experience in the league should help him become a dominant commentator and analyst. It is certain that many fans and players will be keenly listening to his words, given his achievements.
