Nicolas Cage Replaced by Another Actor as Ghost Rider in MCU Art
Nicolas Cage is one of the most talented actors in Hollywood and perhaps one of the most active ones too considering the number of movies he has been a part of. He made his acting debut back in 1981 in the TV pilot The Best of Times and made his Hollywood debut a year later.
Over four nearly four decades of being in the industry, Nicolas Cage has appeared in a wide variety of films, however, one of his characters that stands out is in the film Ghost Rider. The actor appeared in the movie as the titular character. Interestingly, Cage was replaced by another actor in artwork posted by digital artist Kode Abdo.

Captain America took a thrilling departure from his patriotic persona and emerged as Marvel’s newest Ghost Rider. For those unaware, Ghost Rider movies revolve around an edgy character who deals with some scary subjects. Moreover, the character has been linked to Nicolas Cage for over a decade.
The first film Ghost Rider, based on the Marvel character, captivated audiences when it was released in 2007. However, its sequel, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, in 2011 performed poorly and marked the end of the franchise, and the rights went back to Marvel.

Nicolas Cage speaks about spending time with his daughter
Nicolas Cage is arguably one of the most active actors. This year alone the Hollywood actor appeared in six projects. Cage appeared in the movies Renfield, Sympathy for the Devil, and The Old Way. He made his video game debut as well this year as he played a version of himself in the multiplayer horror game Dead by Daylight. His most recent venture is the upcoming movie Dream Scenario.
However, it looks like Cage is finally ready to slow down as he wants to spend more time with his family. While speaking to Entertainment Tonight, he said:
“So, 60’s coming up. I’d like to read a book a week. I want to spend more time with my daughter. I’m taking stock of what’s really important. Maybe not make quite as many movies. [Having a baby girl is] profound. Totally new experience. I love it.”
It’s safe to say that Nicolas Cage’s reasoning for slowing down is logical. He has two sons from his past relationships, but his first daughter is still young and was born in September 2022.
