Angelina Jolie is one of the most talented actresses in the Hollywood industry. While many fans are excited about this new biopic starring their favorite actress, some are not happy with it and called out the actress for choosing this film just to bag another Oscar trophy for her achievements.
Who is Maria Callas?
Maria Callas was an American-born Greek soprano who is known as one of the most renowned and influential opera singers of the 20th century. She was known for her vocal technique and wide-ranging voice and dramatic interpretations. Even though her successful career looks like a blessing at first, she had to go through an unpleasant childhood.
She was raised by an overbearing mother who wanted a son. When her mother came to know about her talent for music, the five-year-old Callas was pushed into singing lessons. She endured many struggles and scandals throughout her career. Even though her personal life garnered major attention among the public, it was never able to overshadow the achievements that made her one of classical music’s best-selling vocalists.
