Being one of the trendsetters, Jenner has often popularized certain beauty trends that, normally, people would not embrace. One of these trends is thick eyebrows and voluminous lashes which were quite popular in the 2010s. However, the Kylie Cosmetics founder claims that she has grown out of it and would like to keep it that way.
Kylie Jenner Is No Longer Interested in Going Back to Her Thick Eyebrows and Lash Extensions Days
Some beauty trends never go out of style, and others keep coming back from time to time. Thick eyebrows and lashes have gone in and out of fashion in different eras. In the 1950s, it was Audrey Hepburn, and Brooke Shields in the 1980s. The 2010s saw a resurgence, thanks to the likes of Kylie Jenner and Cara Delevigne.
While Delevigne rocked those bold eyebrows on the runways and photoshoots, Jenner took over the internet with her “Instagram brows”. That, however, is a thing of the past as she is no longer seen donning those, and for those wondering if they are ever coming back, the answer might disappoint you a little.
In a recent interview with Elle, Jenner discusses her old style and how she has grown out of some of those in the past years which brought a lot of changes for her. She claimed that era
[It] will always be a part of who I am, but it’ll never be what it was when I was younger. I probably would never wear lash extensions and thick eyebrows. There are just certain trends that I’ve grown out of.
Even if she never puts them back on, her cosmetic line is still selling brow kits, lash volumizing products, and lash extensions for anyone interested in recreating those iconic looks.
Kylie Jenner Wants Her Kids to Stay Off Social Media for As Long as Possible
Being a member of the Kardashian-Jenner family, it can be quite a task to stay out of the limelight. Kylie Jenner has been doing her best to keep her relationship with Dune star Timothee Chalamet private, save for a few public appearances where the couple was seen hanging out together.
Jenner has been making waves on social media since she was a teenager. She has amassed a huge following on Instagram. However, like any other protective mother, she wants to keep her kids off social media. Talking to Elle, she said:
When I do share my children, I want it to come from me or their father.
This seems fair considering her kids are still very young to be on social media on their own. She also said that she would try to prevent them from having their own accounts for as long as possible, joking that maybe she would stop it from happening until they leave the family home.
