Paul Teal was 35 years old when he passed away. The actor was recently seen in some notable productions like Deep Water and Fear Street: Part Two, 1978. However, he got his fame from his debut role on TV, where he portrayed Josh in One Tree Hill.
Teal’s last role will be seen in the upcoming Starz TV series The Hunting Wives. The show will premiere in 2025, and its cast includes Jaime Ray Newman who is popular among Marvel fans for her role as Sarah Lieberman in The Punisher.
The Hunting Wives tells the story of how a woman named Sophie O’Neil, played by Brittany Snow, gets involved in obsession and murder among the world of East Texas socialites. Newman plays the role of Callie, who is a sharpshooter married to a powerful sheriff but also in love with Margo Banks, played by Malin Akerman.

Paul Teal died on November 15, 2024, after battling pancreatic cancer. His agent, Susan Tolar Walters, confirmed the news to CNN, saying,

His fiancée Emilia Torello told TMZ that the actor had been diagnosed with stage 4 neuroendocrine pancreatic cancer back in April 2024, but he still passionately continued his work. Torello shared her grief on Instagram and posted the devastating news, writing,
The most thoughtful, inspiring, driven, self-disciplined, loving man passed away on Friday, November 15, 2024.
Bethany Joy Lenz, Teal’s co-star from One Tree Hill, honored him in her post on Instagram by calling him “the kind of guy who lit up a room without trying.” They had known each other since 2006 when Teal starred as Noah Calhoun in Lenz’s musical production of The Notebook.
Although his health was deteriorating health, Teal remained committed to his profession. He shot his role in The Hunting Wives and also appeared in his other 2024 releases like Descendants: The Rise of the Red and Lilly, which again is proof of his dedication and hard work.
