The Disney+ series Echo has intensified Daredevil fans’ expectations as a new peek at the upcoming series showcases Chalie Cox in his iconic role.

After suffering numerous delays, the Diseney+ series Echo starring Alaqua Cox as Echo in the leading role and other acclaimed stars including Daredevil’s Charlie Cox who’s also set for his MCU series titled Daredevil: Born Again. Fans are extremely excited about the upcoming series and have expressed high expectations for the project.

Fans Eagerly Anticipate Charlie Cox’s Appearance as Daredevil Again

Charlie Cox first appeared in the Netflix series titled Daredevil, and since then he has been rising to fame. Fans can’t wait to experience the thrill Cox will bring in the upcoming series Echo and Daredevil reboot. According to a post shared by Discussing Film on X (earlier Twitter) a scene from Alaqua Cox‘s spinoff series captured Daredevil in action which has heightened fans’ anticipation.

Previously Echo was slated for release in mid-2023, but due to the delays in many MCU’s Disney+ shows this spinoff series of Hawkeye was delayed. And now that it is finally on the way, enthusiasts have shared their thoughts through comments:

Charlie Cox stars as the blind superhero with enhanced senses, as after he became blind, his other abilities grew extraordinarily. Whereas Alaqua Cox’s Echo aka Maya Lopez is a deaf Native American woman who has been stranded between heroism and criminality for most of her life, making her character worth fans’ attention.

When Will MCU’s Disney+ Series Echo Release?

Even though Alaqua Cox’s Echo will showcase her in the leading role, Charlie Cox’s appearance in the spinoff has hyped up the show even more. As a supporter of Daredevil, Maya Lopez might play a significant role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The end of Hawkeye sets the plot for Echo as Lopez learns that Kingpin was the one behind her father’s death and now that she barely has anyone on her side, she returns to Oklahoma.

According to the official Echo plot synopsis:

Marvel Studios presents “Echo” in which Maya Lopez (Alaqua Cox) struggles to reconnect with her Native American roots while balancing aspirations tied to a life of crime as successor to the brutal legacy of Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) aka Kingpin. In the first episode, we are introduced to Maya Lopez and her struggles.

The spinoff series is set to be released in January 2024. The cast members include Devery Jacobs, Chaske Spencer, Tantoo Cardinal, Cody Lightning, Graham Greene, and Zahn McClarnon from Hawkeye as William Lopez. However, it has been reported that McClarnon will only appear in the flashback sequences as he was previously killed.
