Pete Davidson Fined With Community Service After Comedian’s Reckless Driving Put Him in Severe Risk
Pete Davidson is known to be a great comedian and serial dater. He is always making headlines for his dating life, controversial jokes, and other scandals. His dating history is filled with the most influential personalities in Hollywood. But that’s not all that accounts for the artist’s fame. He has had his fair share of controversies too. After all, the scandal sells and it seems to follow Pete Davidson around. The newest in his list of scandals has caused him a trip to the district attorney’s office and resulted in some punishment.
Pete Davidson’s Crass Driving
Pete Davidson has recently been responsible for crashing into a Los Angeles area home due to his reckless driving. The Saturday Night Live Alum stirred the steering wheel wrong resulting in the crash. The instance occurred in March. And even though the star has a history of substance abuse, he wasn’t driving under any influence. Hence he has been charged with a misdemeanor count of reckless driving.
On July 19, he was placed on an 18-month diversion program by the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office. As per the program, Davidson needs to complete fifty hours of community service and restitution, twelve hours of traffic school, a hospital, and a morgue visit. Per reports from Los Angeles County District Attorney’s spokesperson, Davidson did not plead guilty or no contest.
Although the accident occurred in Beverly Hills California, Davidson can complete his diversion in New York or the “New York equivalent”.

No One Got Hurt In The Crash
Pete Davidson, who is currently dating Chase Sui Wonders lost control of his vehicle in the Flats neighborhood of Beverly Hills on March 9. His girlfriend was with him at the time. Although no harm to life was done, the property has been “tremendously damaged”. The car crashed into a fire hydrant and left skid marks over the lawn of the house.
The DA’s office clarifies that there was no one hurt or injured due to the crash.
“We believe that (Davidson) engaged in reckless driving, which ultimately resulted in his involvement in a serious collision into a home, Luckily, no one was seriously injured as a result of this collision. We know that reckless driving can have devastating consequences.”
