Piers Morgan Calls Meghan Markle a ‘Virus’, Blasts Her as a “Ruthless, Greedy, Fame-Hungry Social Media Climber Who Played the Royal Family Like a Viola”
Since Meghan Markle became a part of the British royal family, she has been hounded by the media constantly. Along with her, Prince Harry has also come under heavy negative criticism. Following the release of their highly controversial Netflix documentary Harry & Meghan, the royal couple is bombarded with hoards of mostly negative criticisms.
A recent bash came from the British journalist Piers Morgan. He poured out his harsh opinions of Markle and Prince Harry via a piece of writing.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Brutally Bashed by Piers Morgan
There seems to be no end to the ongoing hate and criticism of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Amid the hate they have received recently, especially after the release of their Netflix documentary Harry & Meghan, another person has jumped on the bandwagon. British broadcaster and journalist Piers Morgan has expressed his contempt for the Sussexes. Recently, Morgan wrote a piece on the royal couple following the release of the controversial docuseries by Netflix. Amid all the hate the couple is receiving, the journalist bashed the Duchess of Sussex saying,
“a ruthless, greedy, fame-hungry, social climber who played the royal family like a viola”
He furthermore claimed Markle had an “insatiable” craving for making her way through the news. Morgan also further dragged Prince Harry and shared that he was much more disappointed in him. He said his anger at Markle “is nothing compared to what I think of Harry’s”. Then he went on to explain his reason, saying,
“My real anger is with Harry, whose betrayal of his family and country has now been laid bare in appalling and striking detail.”
Furthermore, he also claimed that Prince Harry had fed the narrative that Britain was a racist country and the royal family was racist. Besides all that, Morgan called the couple “shameless conmen” and that the filmed footage in the docuseries was already planned for exploitation later.
Piers Morgan Criticized Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Docuseries
Among many of the thoughts expressed by British journalist Piers Morgan in his piece of writing on the Sussexes, he also bashed the show. The docuseries became controversial even before it was released. And after its release, it was showered with negative criticisms. Adding to that, Morgan expressed his disappointment and hate for the docuseries calling it “nauseating“, “tawdry” and “astonishingly narcissistic”. And while giving his review, he called out Markle for describing herself as a “foreign organism” in the royal family. Morgan instead described her as a “virulent virus” working against the royal family. He also complained how instead of watching the series he had endured it.
