Prince Harry Reportedly Begged Dad King Charles to Not Marry Queen Camilla, Called Her a ‘Dangerous’ Princess Diana Replacement
Prince Harry is not on such good terms with his family especially his father, King Charles III, who is the current monarch of the United Kingdom. One of the reasons involved in their beef is linked to the latter’s relationship with Queen Consort Camilla. It was clear that the former has always been a bold personality however he took a straight hit on the Queen Consort by stating her as a villain.

The new monarch is quite busy preparing for his coronation ceremony nowadays however it is somehow a hassle for the Queen as she did not want the Duke of Sussex to be there on such a gracious occasion. The reason could be linked to what he said about her.

The 38-year-old British royal family member, Prince Harry has had a fair share of good memories with his late mother, Princess Diana. After her death, his father and current UK monarch, King Charles III got married to Queen Consort Camilla in 2005. While the prince has already thrown shade on his dear British royal family, his affection for the Queen is quite on the top.
In a 60 Minutes interview with ITV’s Tom Bradby, he opened up about how she managed to rebuild her reputation even though she was once known for her longtime affair with his father.
“That made her dangerous because of the connections that she was forging within the British press. And there was open willingness on both sides to trade information and with a family built on hierarchy, and with her on the way to being Queen Consort, there was going to be people or bodies left in the street because of that.”
While he also threw light on how the British press continued to portray him and his wife, Meghan Markle as the enemy and created a further rift between the others, he also revealed about reportedly asking his father not to wed the King’s now wife.
Prince Harry Once Tried to Persuade King Charles III Against Marrying Queen Consort Camilla
The royal prince continued to share that he reportedly asked his father not to marry the now Queen after the demise of Princess Diana. In his memoir, Spare, he shared about having fearful thoughts regarding his then-to-be stepmom, “if she would be like all the wicked stepmothers in the stories.”
He stated,
“We asked him not to get married. He chose to. That’s his decision. But the two of them were and remain very happy together.”
While there are strained strings attached to their relationship, he still wishes the royal couple a happy marriage. However, it won’t be easy to forgive the Duke as he has continued to spit venom on other royal members as well. While the royal drama unfolds, the Sussexes are invited to King Charles’ coronation which will be held in May this year.
