A recent article on Elon Musk has been making the rounds claiming the tech giant has dived into the world of pharmaceuticals with CBD Gummies that will reportedly reverse dementia. Websites called aromathy and sbynews published a news where Musk was reportedly fighting a lawsuit brought on by Martha Macallum, a renowned Fox News journalist. In it, Musk was quoted,

“I know Martha is just coming after my timeslot. I am not giving in to ‘Cancel Culture’. When I started this whole thing back in 2018, it really was just a part time passion project and a way for me to give back. After being given so much, I figured there was no better time to make Impact Garden CBD Gummies available to everyone, as it can help thousands of people experience life pain-free and live much happier lives.”

The entire article focuses on Musk standing by his Gummies that can actually reverse Dementia, a group of mental symptoms that make patients forget things and impact memory. No cure for dementia has been found yet, which made this tidbit more interesting. Plus, when Elon Musk is mentioned, people automatically want to hear what he has done now. All of this is apparently a scam to spread false information and mislead people.

Both articles on the websites are vague and uninformative. The websites themselves look fake and newly created to propagate such false news. No product such as CBD Gummies created by Musk exists and neither does it cure dementia. The websites don’t even mention what contract Fox is suing for. Readers should beware of such scammer websites that don’t uphold the basic ethics of journalism.
