The aspect that makes this movie stand out is its quirky name which seems to leave the audience scratching their heads. What does Beetlejuice mean? The 1988 movie is titled after a constellation of stars named Betelgeuse which is also the name of the lead character bio-exorcist in the movie. However, at the time of the release, the name of the movie did not seem marketable to the production studios. They begged him to change the name of the movie, but director Tim Burton never wavered. Thanks to him, we got this cult classic movie with a memorable name.

While fans would have loved to see Johnny Depp reunite with Burton for this classic, there is no news of him being in the movie. Along with the original cast, new actors will also be seen in Beetlejuice Beetlejuice to take the story ahead. Jenna Ortega, who is familiar with Burton’s filmmaking process through Wednesday, will be playing Ryder’s daughter in the sequel. Willem Dafoe, known for his accurate portrayal of villains and anti-heroes, will also be joining the star cast with Justin Theroux and Monica Bellucci.
