Rectal Ozone Therapy: $200M Rich Iron Man Star Gwyneth Paltrow Admits Inserting Ozone in Her B**thole is “Pretty Weird”
Gwyneth Paltrow is known for her controversial statements and having some unusual products under her wellness and lifestyle brand, Goop. However, along with all those, the 50-year-old actress is also becoming popular for trying out some unconventional wellness treatments.
The Iron Man actress has received quite the backlash after she shared her wellness routine during her appearance on The Art of Being Well podcast. However, it seems the Goop founder has a lot more to offer, as the actress also revealed the weirdest wellness treatment she’s ever tried.
Gwyneth Paltrow Admits Using Rectal Ozone Therapy
After sharing her detox salad recipe and wellness routine, Gwyneth Paltrow has now shared another wellness treatment she tried. While netizens were quite surprised by her earlier claims, Paltrow herself admitted that this might be the weirdest wellness treatment she has ever tried. She said, “It’s pretty weird but it’s been very helpful.”
During her appearance on The Art of Being Well, the Sliding Doors star shared that she has tried “ozone therapy rectally.” Rectal Ozone Therapy involves a process of delivering ozone gas into the body via a catheter in order to treat a disease or wound.
However, the process is not regulated, and according to the FDA’s Code of Regulation, Ozone is “a toxic gas” and contains “no known useful medical application.” Paltrow also shared her wellness routine, which resulted in a huge backlash as people started calling her out for sharing such expensive treatments and strange wellness trends.
Gwyneth Paltrow Called Out by Doctors And Dieticians
Gwyneth Paltrow has been called out by doctors and dieticians for promoting unusual wellness routines and controversial wellness treatments. New York-based registered dietitian, Sammi Haber Brondo, also shared their views regarding Paltrow’s diet.
Brondo deemed the Emma star’s diet unhealthy saying that it is “very little food and actually not healthy.” She also called her diet plan “restrictive eating” and said that the Contagion actress is not “giving herself enough calories or energy to exercise.”
Her Rectal Ozone Therapy has also caused doctors to call her out. Washington-based Dr. Jennifer Caudle, who is a board-certified Osteopathic Family Medicine Physician, shared a video calling Paltrow out for promoting things “that could be dangerous.” She also pointed out that there is no proof that the treatment works as she mentions the FDA’s warning against the use of Ozone for any type of medical applications.
