As former DC director, Snyder highlighted the importance of Latinos in superhero movies. He emphasized the importance of diversity in such narratives. While appreciating and highlighting, he didn’t forget to mention his eager anticipation to take his kids to watch the film on August 18th.

Blue Beetle Receives Endorsement through Former DCU Director
Zack Snyder shared a promotional image showcasing Xolo Maridueña. The image featured an enigmatic image of the superhero’s iconic logo, which was cloaked with darkness and accompanied by a caption and hashtag- “The Dawn of a new era in the DCU,” accompanied with #RepresentationMatters.
Angel Manuel Soto, the director of Blue Beetle, responded to the post by thanking him for the support and said it meant a lot to him and the culture. His response read, “kind gesture”. He even shared an admiration for the work of Snyder since the early days in the commercials.
Gunn, through tweets, called his chat with Synder positive. He said,
“He contacted me to express his support about my choices. He’s a great guy. Again, he seems really happy with the massive world-building he’s doing now.”
While the two shared a moment of greatness, the tweet of Zack Synder sparked a wave of speculation and excitement among fans regarding the first superhero to appear in rebooted DCU of James Gunn.
