Riverdale to honor late Luke Perry in all future episodes
Earlier this week we got to know about the sad demise of Luke Perry. The 52-year-old actor who used to play the role of Fred Andrews in the Riverdale series died due to a massive stroke. This was a piece of unexpected news and it hit everyone very badly. The Riverdale team deiced to honor its late patriarch for seasons to come. Due to the death of Luke Perry on March 4, the show dedicated its most recent episode to the late actor.
Remembering Luke Perry
The shows creator and executive producer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa said that all the future episodes will be dedicated to Perry. He shared a sentimental tweet which featured an old photo of the cast.

Tonight’s episode of Riverdale finds Fred doing what he does best — helping Archie. It is dedicated to Luke, as all episodes will be for the rest of our run.
The executive producers, Warner Bros. Television, and The CW collectively released a statement honoring the loss of the great actor in their family. It read as follows:
Luke was everything you would hope he would be: an incredibly caring, consummate professional with a giant heart, and a true friend to all. A father figure and mentor to the show’s young cast, Luke was incredibly generous, and he infused the set with love and kindness.
They also shutdown the production on the wake of Luke Perry’s death.

The entire cast and crew also shared sentimental tributes for the late actor. The lead actress Lili Reinhart shared an intense poem about grief, which read, “I pray that he’s silently moving in tandem with us. Guiding us through the waves even when we can’t swim.”
