Robert Pattinson Has Finally Got the Chance to Work with This Legendary Filmmaker
Robert Pattinson, despite having a number of accolades and loads of critical appreciation, had a regret of missing out on a dream project. He had missed out on being a part of Joanna Hogg’s 2019 romantic movie, The Souvenir Part II due to scheduling conflicts (via Indie Wire). If he had been a part of the movie, he would have had the chance to work with Martin Scorsese, who served as the executive producer.
However, fate is not ignorant towards Pattinson and has served him with another opportunity to work with Scorsese, and become a part of the club that currently consists the likes of Robert De Niro and Leonardo DiCaprio.
As per the latest updates, The Lighthouse star is set to work with Jennifer Lawrence for the first time. Directed by Lynne Ramsay, both Pattinson and Lawrence are set to play the leading roles in Die, My Love.
The movie will be produced by Martin Scorsese and hence, Pattinson becomes one of those iconic actors who have got the chance to work with the legendary filmmaker. The movie is about a mother who struggles to maintain her sanity while battling with psychosis in a remote, forgotten rural area. The movie is inspired by Argentine author Ariana Harwicz’s 2019 novel of the same name. The novel was Harwicz’s debut work and was a finalist for the Man Booker International Prize in 2018.
