While the two had a fairytale wedding and claimed to be very much in love, the latest fiasco brought that to question. Over the weekend it was reported that the Toxic singer had a meltdown during their dinner at a restaurant and it led her husband to storm off. Speculations of trouble in their marriage have been rife ever since, but Asghari has finally broken his silence.

It was reported earlier that Britney Spears and Sam Asghari went to enjoy a nice dinner at a restaurant called Joey in Woodland Hills, California, accompanied by their bodyguard. But the night was about to take a different turn. The other diners got excited when they saw the pop star and pulled out their phone cameras to record her, which reportedly upset the 41-year-old. She held up a menu to shield her face from the camera but the situation only deteriorated. Reports suggest that she went manic and had a meltdown, and began shrieking and speaking incoherently.
TMZ reported that after this spectacle, Asghari got “visibly upset, abruptly stood up and stormed out the door”. Followed by her husband’s curt departure, the Work Bitch singer herself got up and left the establishment and her bodyguard took care of the bill.
Sam Asghari claps back at the rumors with a cryptic Instagram story
Quite naturally, this report mirrors trouble in paradise, and this is also not the first hint of marital issues between the two. Back in November, the Criminal singer claimed to not be completely present during her wedding ceremony with the 28-year-old. And now this global display of discord paints a really bad picture indeed.
However, the Iranian actor has now addressed the reports and his answer suggests that the speculations hold no water. He took to his Instagram handle to share a cryptic statement on his story. The statement read,
“Don’t believe everything you read online people”.
If this is indeed a reply to separation rumors about his marriage, then it seems like all must be fine within and the couple is doing okay.
The Gimme More singer’s latest Instagram video also suggests that things are normal. She shared a bold dancing video, like she often does, wearing a white mini dress and moving to the tunes of the song I Touch Myself by Divinyls. During the video, she defiantly showed the middle finger to the camera, and even turned off comments to avoid any exchange with the fans.
