Scary Doctor Strange 2 Concept Art Reveals Marvel Nearly Made Wanda a Terrifying Monstrosity
There is no denying that Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was incredibly terrifying and featured a ton of jaw-dropping moments. Wanda, who typically portrays the good guy, surprised everyone by being the one generating all the trouble, and for that, she deserves a lot of credit. We now know that Marvel considered making Wanda into something incredibly frightening in the film. In several images that were released, Wanda was presented in a completely different way than how we are used to seeing her.
Scarlet Witch in Doctor Strange 2 could have been more scary
In Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Scarlet Witch certainly gave us a good scare, but guess what? At first, she was even more terrifying! Pictures from the book Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness: The Art of the Movie that surfaced on Reddit reveal that Marvel had some very spine-tingling ideas for Wanda. When she entered the Darkhold, they considered making her look genuinely spooky. She appears to have a strange crown-like object that is fused with her flesh in these early concept arts, masking her red, flashing eyes. Marvel’s plans for our Scarlet Witch were really frightening!
It was quite frightening to see Scarlet Witch use her powers to the fullest extent in the film. After everything that transpired in WandaVision, Elizabeth Olsen‘s character becomes fixated on discovering a reality in which she may be happy with her children. She even makes an attempt to take America Chavez’s abilities, a teenage girl with the ability to alter the multiverse’s limits anytime she pleases. With Doctor Strange attempting to control everything, it’s a chaotic journey. Although the Scarlet Witch from the concept picture wasn’t really seen, it only goes to show how Marvel isn’t afraid to make their characters seriously spooky.
Is Scarlet Witch really dead?
What happened to the Scarlet Witch, Wanda Maximoff, in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness left us all puzzled. She chose to demolish Mount Wundagore and the Darkhold in a strange turn of things that seemed to be her way of bidding farewell to everything. While some of her fans believe she may be permanently lost, others are still holding out hope. Since there was a red light flash as the mountain collapsed, several people thought Wanda might have survived and might appear in another Marvel film.

The real shocker is that Wanda’s star, Elizabeth Olsen, is unsure about what Marvel has in store for her role. She’s been rather open about it, stating that she wants to take on various roles and get away from her reputation as the Scarlet Witch. Finding balance in her profession is the key. So, while we wonder what will happen to Wanda Maximoff, you may watch Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness on Disney+.
