A source close to the couple revealed that the duo had been living apart for months before announcing their separation. Both Vergara and Manganiello have been surrounded by their inner circles. While the The Three Stooges actress’ friends won’t be surprised if she began dating soon, Manganiello doesn’t appear nearly as eager to start a new relationship.

There have been a lot of speculations about the cause of the split. An insider close to Vergara has recently told US Weekly:

“Sofia’s living her best life. She’s spending time with her friends after being stifled in a relationship with a largely unsupportive partner. Sofía was always there to take care of Joe, while his career was never what it was when they met. I think he’s been threatened by her success and joie de vivre.”

Another insider has said that the duo was not on the same page about having a baby, and this created a rift between them. While there could be many reasons why the couple decided to separate, none of them would hold any importance unless Vergara and Manganiello address the matter themselves.
