Seven Most Powerful Aliens In The Marvel Cinematic Universe
The cosmic corners of the MCU began with the introduction of Asgard and Thor, followed by the advent of the Cosmic Cube, which threw Red Skull to a different planet. After that, The Avengers fought the Chitauri in 2012’s Avengers and finally in Infinity War, we met Thanos, the greatest threat to humanity in the MCU.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe is home to many powerful aliens with unimaginable abilities. Today we will explore the seven most powerful aliens in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
7. Loki
Loki, reprised onscreen by Tom Hiddleston appeared in two Avengers films and three Thor films. While he’s not as powerful as his brother, Loki has proved to be a master manipulator and trickster in the MCU.
Loki used his power in the MCU to manipulate the team, turning them against one another. He is also the master of illusion.
6. Hela
Hela, played by Cate Blanchett is Thor’s elder sister and the rightful heir to the throne after Odin’s death. She is the strongest of all her siblings, possessing the ability to summonses deadly spikes from the ground at her own will.
With Asgardian durability and strength, Hela proved her power at the beginning of Thor: Ragnarok when she destroyed Thor’s Mjolner with ease.
5. Thor
The God of Thunder, played by Chris Hemsworth has had a tough time getting used to the life on Earth, he immediately adopted it as his second home and sworn to protect it.
Being The God Thunder, he can summon lightning and has the power to wield the mighty Mjolner. Out of all the Avengers in Infinity War, it was Thor who actually caused the most damage to Thanos towards the climax of the film.
4. Ego
Ego, the living planet is an ancient godly being, who has existed for millions of years. He can manipulate matter and actually formed a planet around his brain.
He has other powers like agility, super strength, manipulation of energy and hypnotism. Also, this guy is close to being immortal. Ugh.
3. The Watchers
Though the Watchers appear for a very brief time onscreen, Guardians 2 confirmed their existence in the MCU. This means that the extremely powerful race will one day become a part of the story.
The Watchers may have appeared for a brief moment, they should not be underestimated. This race has been keeping a check on everything that has happened in the universe since its beginning.
2. Dormammu
Seen only for a brief moment in 2016’s Doctor Strange, Dormammu is an extremely powerful ancient Celestial who has limitless power and is also immortal.
Why Doctor Strange was able to defeat him was because he trapped him in an infinite loop and made a deal. Had Strange failed in doing so, there was no stopping Dormammu from conquering the Earth.
1. Thanos
You guessed this, didn’t you? Josh Brolin’s Thanos wiped out half the existence at the end of Infinity War, proving how powerful he could be. Even without the Infinity Stones, he’s skilled in combat and is extremely strong.
It’s yet to be seen how the rest of the Avengers will defeat the Mad Titan in the upcoming Avengers 4.
