Simu Liu’s old posts are surely disgusting but he has garnered enough appreciation for his work that it has divided social media. Some came to his defense saying that these posts have been deliberately taken out of context to defame him. However, the actor hasn’t defended himself yet. But he has shared his Tweet of 2019 explaining that he tries to advocate positivity. He adds a disclaimer saying: “If you dig back far enough, I’m sure you’ll find a more immature version of me who gave in to anger and hate. It doesn’t make me a hypocrite; it makes me a human being. Mentalities evolve. We shift and we grow. And I want us all to grow the right way.” Even though he didn’t respond to any accusation directly, but he did try to put his stand on the controversy.
