Sharon Osbourne Returns Home After Mysterious Illness Left Her Hospitalized While Filming Paranormal TV Series
Following a medical emergency on a paranormal television show set in California on Friday, Sharon Osbourne has returned home. The actress posted a beautiful picture on her Instagram with a health update message a few hours ago. Her son Jack Osbourne also shared her mother’s health updates and her return home from the hospital over the weekend.
According to sources, Sharon Osbourne, wife of legendary rocker Ozzy Osbourne, was hospitalized on Friday night while filming a paranormal TV show. In 1982, the actress married Ozzy Osbourne and had three children, Aimée, Kelly, and Jack. July 2022 marked the couple’s 40th wedding anniversary, which they celebrated on social media. In the MTV reality series The Osbournes, Sharon Osbourne’s family came to the public’s attention.
Sharon Osbourne Gets Discharged From the Hospital After Health Scare
Jack Osbourne, Sharon Osbourne‘s son, claimed that the incident happened on the set of Jack and Kelly Osbourne: Night of Terror for the Travel Channel. According to TMZ, first responders from Santa Paula Hospital transported Sharon Osbourne to Santa Paula Hospital after she fell ill while filming at the Glen Tavern Inn on Friday evening.
Don Aguilar, Santa Paula’s police chief, confirmed the name of the individual involved in the medical emergency. One of Osbourne’s close sources said that the emergency was not life-threatening.
Through his Instagram story, Jack Osbourne shared a statement regarding the incident over the weekend, and he wrote,
“She has been given the all-clear from her medical team and is now home. Thank you to everyone who has reached out with love and support. As to what happened to my mum — I’m gonna leave it to her to share about when she is ready.”
A few hours ago, The Osbournes star also posted a picture on her Instagram handle with a sweet health update, which relieved her close ones and her fans. She captioned the post, “Back home and doing great! Thank you for all the (heart emoji).”
The TV personality is doing well and safe at home; however, she has struggled with multiple health ailments for the past twenty years.
Other Health Issues Associated With Sharon Osbourne
Following her March 2021 departure from the CBS daytime talk show The Talk, which followed an on-air argument with her co-host Sheryl Underwood, the 70-year-old television personality has continued to work. The actress, aside from working, also suffered from several serious health problems.
In 2002, she underwent several chemotherapy treatments for colon cancer, which were included in the MTV reality series The Osbournes. When she discovered a gene that increased her risk of developing br**st cancer in November 2012, she revealed she had undergone a double mastectomy.
She revealed, “I wasn’t diagnosed with cancer, but I had the gene, and one of my breasts was in very bad shape because of the implant.”
In May 2022, the actress revealed that she had contracted COVID-19 a week after Ozzy Osbourne. As she wiggled her toes while receiving an IV, she posted a photo on Twitter with the peace sign and the words, “F**k Covid.”
