“She cannot wait to see him again”: Matt Healy Seemingly Confirms Taylor Swift Dating Rumors, Attends Singer’s Concert to Show Love
The 1975 frontman, Matt Healy’s presence at Taylor Swift’s latest Eras tour seemingly confirmed the rumors. After the news of the breakup between Jow Alwyn and the Lover singer was confirmed, a new boy in town was speculatively able to win her over. After The Sun reported the two might be dating, Healy’s visit to the concert at the Nissan Stadium in Tennessee painted a much clear picture than words ever could.
Turns out, the two have been childhood friends and had been linked romantically previous to this. Although none of their reps has yet confirmed the ongoing rumors. Fans are sure there is definitely something brewing between the two.
Is Taylor Swift dating Matt Healy?
After the recent split from her partner of six years, Joe Alwyn, Taylor Swift was embracing singlehood for a while, but that changed soon after The 1975 singer came back into the picture seemingly nearly after a decade. All the famous gossip mills started rolling out the news, that the singer has already found her next man in her childhood friend Matt Healy. The two were speculated to be dating back in the year 2014, which both of them denied. The rumors again started flying recently after an anonymous source close to Swift claimed the following statement to The Sun. They said,
“She and Matty are madly in love. It’s super-early days, but it feels right. They first dated, very briefly, almost ten years ago but timings just didn’t work out.”
They further reassured that none of them cheated on each other,
“Taylor and Joe actually split up back in February, so there was absolutely no crossover.”
And also added,
“Both Matty and Taylor have been touring over the past few weeks, so it’s been a lot of Face-Timing and texting but she cannot wait to see him again.”
Taylor Swift also made a surprise visit mid-concert to London’s O2 Arena where The 1975 played its first two concerts in January. All these cheeky surprise visits and the subtle nods toward one another led the fans to believe something is definitely up.
Matt Healy cannot keep himself from appreciating Taylor Swift
Matt Healy has nothing but kind words for his long-time friend TayTay. The man on numerous occasions failed to hide his feelings towards the talented singer. He let his love for her spill all over with his words of appreciation. Just after the two were linked back in 2014, he said,
“We met each other, we exchanged numbers in the same way that a lot of people in this kind of world do, and we spoke occasionally,”
Healy then further added,
“She’s the biggest pop star in the world and I’m in Australia. There’s no relationship or anything happening. It’s just funny how people really, really buy into that.”
He also called her “sensational” and “amazing” countless times in recent years, and let the world know he is also a certified Swiftie! Therefore although the nature of their relationship is still yet to be revealed, fans are excited Taylor Swift found herself another London Boy.
