“She didn’t invite the whole family”: Britney Spears Missed Her Sons’ Presence in Her Wedding With Sam Asghari After She Banned Her Entire Family
Britney Jean Spears, best known as the Princess of Pop, is one of the best artists in the world of music. She has won many awards for her songs and enjoys a massive fan following around the world. Besides staying in the spotlight for her excellent singing career, Spears has been a topic of debate for decades due to her family drama over her 13-year-long conservatorship under her father, Jamie Lynn Spears. Even though she has finally gotten her freedom back after years of silently battling legal wars with her father, the court announced in November 2021 that she is no longer under conservatorship. But even after all this time, Spears has not overcome the trauma of the same; the singing legend is still suffering from major depression and anxiety.
Britney Spears and Kevin Federline: From their marriage to divorce
The Baby One More Time singer and her former husband Kevin Federline met back in 2004; after three months of romance, they tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at a private home in Studio City, California. After their marriage, Spears announced that she was excited to be a mother, and then in 2005, she welcomed their eldest son, Sean Preston, and a year later, the singer gave birth to their second child, Jayden James.
There is a perfect song lyric that explains this ex-lover’s brief romance: “Wise men say only fools rush in, but I can’t help falling in love with you.” In 2006, right after she gave birth to her second child, she filed for divorce from her rapper husband. Spears cited “irreconcilable differences.” While it was quite evident in her Netflix documentary, Britney vs. Spears, the singer has been a longtime victim of public scrutiny and dominating media culture. During the 1990s, she was one of the most followed celebrities by the paparazzi. Her fight for freedom and legal battles, as well as her messy relationships, have been well documented in the media for years.
The couple finalized their divorce in March 2007, agreeing to share custody of their children. But as per many online reports, Spears’s ex-husband has refused to sign the legal papers of their co-parenting over concerns about the singer’s problematic behavior. At the time, Britney was in rehab, and in the following year, she shaved her head in front of so many paparazzi at Esther’s Hair Salon in Tarzana, California. And then, after a series of public mental breakdowns, in 2008, her ex-husband Federline fought for full custody of their sons after Spears behavior. Although the rapper won custody of their kids, in the same year he said he wanted the kids to have a relationship with their mother.
Britney Spears was upset over her son’s absence at her wedding with Sam Asghari
It all began in 2016 when Britney Spears released her new song Slumber Party, in which her now-husband Sam Asghari was featured in the song video as her love interest. Following the year, they both quietly started dating, and at one point Asghari even shared a picture of them on Instagram, which he later deleted, but all the news about the singer’s health didn’t stop the two from falling for each other.
They made their relationship official in 2017 when they were spotted together in Disneyland, and since then they are going stronger than ever. Sam Asghari has been a loyal husband to Britney Spear; he has helped her with her mental health and is very supportive of his wife. In 2021, the couple announced their engagement via their social media accounts, and fans were thrilled to hear the news. The couple then decided to marry and tied the knot in the year 2022, and while it was an intimate ceremony, Britney was reportedly upset as her sons Jayden and Sean didn’t attend their marriage.
Britney Spears’ son, Jayden, told the Daily Mail,
“I’m not saying that I’m not happy for her. I’m really happy for them, but she didn’t invite the whole family, and if it was just going to be me and Preston, I just don’t see how that situation would have ended on good terms.”
As per reports, Britney Spears barred her father, mother, and sister from attending her wedding, though she asked her sons to come; they chose not to. Her relationship with her ex-husband has improved over the years, though her two kids do not maintain a good bond with their mother. But we sincerely hope that Spears can get along with her kids, as she deserves all the love and support after years of struggling with conservatorship drama.
