While Spears was under conservatorship, she said she was “victimized by the conservatorship.” The Hold Me Closer singer revealed that she had to depend on social media to express her grievances with her family members, including her dad, Jamie Spears, who was given control over Spears’ estate and personal affairs. She claimed that she was forced by her father to stay in a mental institution. However, her family has denied all her claims and said that they only wanted to help her.
