Anne Heche is known for her roles in films such as Donnie Brasco, Cedar Rapids, and Psycho. However, recently the actress has come into the spotlight for her critical car accident on Friday in Los Angeles. The actress not only put her own life in danger but also caused harm to several others. Even though the actress managed to survive the incident, she caused a huge fire by crashing her car into a house. Now, the cause behind the accident has been revealed, and it seems like the star is going through a pretty rough phase of her life.
Anne Heche admitted to heavy drinking right before the car accident
The actress suffered extensive burns on her body due to the fire. According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the fire was so fierce that it took 59 firemen and more than an hour to put it out. Lynne Mishele, the lady whose house the star slammed into, is lucky to be alive. According to Friday’s episode of the Better Together podcast, the actress had been drinking.
“We are sitting with Re:Find,” the star said. “We each have a bottle in front of us because our friends sent us a bottle Re:Find!”
Anne Heche blamed bad days for drinking too much
The actress blamed “bad days” for drinking too much. She also said that her doctor said that they “should be drinking vodka instead of wine.” The star then added, “And we listened! And we are drinking it — with wine chasers.”
The star also added that she is having a very “unique day”, continuing “I don’t know what happened — sometimes days just suck.” She further added, “I’m rocked — I am rocked.”

Anne Heche’s actions cause a lot of damage to Lynne Mishele
It is unclear what the actress was going through before the crash. However, her actions caused a lot of damage to Lynne Mishele’s property since the innocent woman lost an “entire lifetime of possessions, mementos,” as well as other precious items. Even though the actress is in a “stable condition”, Lynne is still busy raising funds to recover the damage done to her.
Hopefully, the actress will take responsibility for her reckless actions once she recovers.
