According to rumors, Prince Harry’s wife is eyeing a key role in a high-profile movie backed by Brad Falchuk. For the unheard, he is the husband of Iron Man actress, Gwyneth Paltrow.
It seems that the former actress wants to make a comeback in the acting industry after the Duchess of Sussex recently scorched the red carpet with her stunning appearance at the Women of Vision Awards.
Prior to landing her recurring role as Rachel Zane in Suits, she appeared on popular shows like General Hospital, CSI, and 90210.
Meghan Markle Is Aiming to Land A Role In $30 Million Movie
Following their glitzy lunch date in Montecito on May 12 with celebrities, Cameron Diaz and Gwyneth Paltrow, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle made a big impression on the red carpet in New York City.
Insiders now claim that the big night was a surprise new plan, and the couple smiled as they posed for pictures at the Women of Vision awards. Rumors have it that Markle is getting ready to relaunch her acting career now that she has joined forces with the prestigious talent agency, WME.
The Duchess is reportedly eyeing a $30 million movie role in an upcoming US production, according to sources. These rumors are fueled by the fact that Gwyneth Paltrow, Markle’s lunch companion at the event, is married to prominent Hollywood producer Brad Falchuk.
The source claims that she is “determined to secure a deal with Brad [Falchuk]” because of his extensive network of contacts, which could help establish her as an A-list celebrity.
The former Suits actress reportedly pushed to return to California because she wanted to act again. The source even suggested that Markle pushed her husband to move to California so that she could mix with Hollywood A-listers and land a movie role.
Apparently, Paltrow has “always infatuated” Markle, who reportedly wants to “model herself after her”.
Meghan Markle Previously Signed a Deal With WME
Early this month, Meghan Markle signed a contract with Ari Emanuel’s WME to establish herself as a “power player” in Hollywood.
The deal, which was announced last month and has been in the works for the past few months, will reportedly help Marke get big projects. According to a reputable Hollywood insider, the goal of this deal is to elevate Markle’s position in the Hollywood industry.
“Even though she is, of course, an actress, this isn’t about movies or shows for Meghan to star in, it is about creating projects for her to produce – she wants to run the show.”
“They need to find a way to make money – this is business,” a source familiar with the couple said.
According to the source, the agreement will be “more solely focused” on Markle’s business endeavors because she “has a lot of business ideas, considers herself an entrepreneur, and now there’s a machine behind her to support those ideas.”
In recent months, as Page Six first reported, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have become more noticeable in Hollywood. They still have their current five-year contract with Netflix, which Forbes estimates to be worth about $100 million, as well as a rumored $15 million agreement with Spotify.
Also, Markle is reportedly bringing her Archetypes podcast back for a second season.
