Gwyneth Paltrow is one of those Hollywood stars who has been vocal about her opinions. The actress-businesswoman openly shares her thoughts, whether it’s her diet or the nepotism in Hollywood. And being this outspoken has led her to be involved in several controversies. Not just her statements, the Goop founder has also been criticized for selling controversial products under her wellness and lifestyle brand.
Some of her controversial statements are also about the food items that the Oscar-winning actress prefers to avoid. And as she went through what she eats in a day recently on The Art of Being Well podcast, Paltrow has stirred up another controversy for her.
Gwyneth Paltrow Shares Her Wellness Routine
Hollywood star, Gwyneth Paltrow recently joined Dr. Will Cole on his podcast, The Art of Being Well, and talked about her wellness routine. Talking about administering an IV, the Shallow Hal star shared that she is “an early IV adopter.” She also mentioned how this is “embarrassing” for her before mentioning that Glutathione and Phosphatidylcholine are two of her favorites.
The 50-year-old actress further shared her wellness routine saying that she tries to eat something that would not “spike [her] blood sugar.” Paltrow said that she has “bone broth for a lot of the days” and tries to do an hour of movement. “I’ll go for a walk or I’ll do pilates or I’ll do my Tracy Anderson [workouts],” the Emma star shared.
Paltrow stated that she finishes her day with “lots of vegetables.” However, her wellness routine did not seem appropriate to people as they started calling her an “almond mom” for following such a diet and even questioned if her IV treatments could be considered helpful as she still seemed physically sick.
People Criticize Gwyneth Paltrow’s Almond Mom Diet
Almond mom is a term used to describe adults or parents who encourage youngsters to follow disordered eating. And after learning about Gwyneth Paltrow’s routine and the food she consumes in a day, people started calling her “the mother of all almond moms.”

They even criticized her for promoting expensive IV treatments, when she looked “sick and pale” after using them. People even called her wellness routine “insufferable.” They also pointed out that she looked even older. This would not be the first time Gwyneth Paltrow had been criticized for her unhealthy and unrelatable routine.
The actress has earlier shared how she does not want her children to have “Cup-a-Soup” and that she would rather “smoke crack” than eat canned cheese. She shared a detox salad recipe to promote the lifestyle brand’s $195 “G. Tox 7-Day Reset Kit,” which has also been one of the controversial topics related to the Contagion star.
