Erin Moriarty’s stardom has been rising exponentially ever since the release of Amazon Prime Video’s anti-superhero satirical show The Boys, where she plays the role of Annie January / Starlight. Women doing plastic surgery, especially in Hollywood, due to the extreme pressure of the beauty standards of the industry to always remain perfect and ageless, has been a point of debate for a long time. It seems like a double-edged sword where the actresses get brutally scrutinized by paparazzi and the media for even one single fine line, yet doing botox or cosmetic procedures would bring in a heap of trolling and hate comments. This is precisely what happened to Erin Moriarty, whose looks seem to have drastically changed between season 1 and season 4 teaser of The Boys.

After user Royce Lopez posted a side-by-side transformation picture of Erin Moriarty on X (formerly Twitter), fans chimed in. While some were genuinely concerned, saying she ruined her face, many were brutally trolling her left and right. Check out some of the comments below.

What Procedures Might Erin Moriarty Have Gone Through Under The Knife?

There are many rumors flying around and everyone is contributing their two cents on the matter. However, if one were to listen to the experts, the procedures may have included things like rhinoplasty, buccal fat removal, blepharoplasty, v-line jaw surgery, breast implants, and fillers. 

Longevita said in its blog that while comparing before and after pictures, one can see her nose visibly getting narrower, with the tip more refined. The bump at the bridge of her nose is also not visible.

Buccal fat removal is a process where fat is removed from the hollows of the cheeks to make your face look more refined and sharp. While Clinic International debates that it can be a consequence of weight loss, cosmetic surgery cannot be ruled out completely. 

Blepharoplasty is another cosmetic procedure that removes fat from around the upper and lower eyelids. Longevita did a comparison of her 2013 pictures and her recent Instagram snaps and suggested that the big, hollowed eye look may have been due to blepharoplasty.

In addition to this, v-line jaw surgery is also put in the bag of speculation, where the doctor shaves the sides of the jaw and chin to change the shape of the face. Since many found the actress suddenly having a rather pointed face as opposed to a square one, this surgery has been thrown into the mix of guesses.

As for other surgeries, breast augmentation and fillers have been wondered about. According to Longevita, Moriarty is believed to have lip and cheek fillers, along with a more artificially developed breast.
