The Duffer Brothers created the series with the idea of creating a show that is a mix of investigation and supernatural elements with references to the culture of the 1980s. The response to the show that initially premiered in 2016 was positive, and it continued for the following seasons as well. The fifth and final season of the show is set to premiere in 2025, but the studios have released the first look.

Millie Bobby Brown is ready to close the chapter on Eleven with Stranger Things S5

Actress Millie Bobby Brown, who plays Eleven, a girl with telepathic and psychokinetic abilities on the show, was merely 10 years old when she first appeared on Stranger Things in 2016. Now, as they all prepare to greet their fans for one last time, fans cannot help but draw comparisons to how long it’s been for her and look at her growth, both personal and professional.

Without giving too much about the final season, the actress, who is now 20 and married to Jake Bongiovi, shared during a behind-the-scenes video that was recently released by Netflix, stating,

I started when I was 10, and I’m now turning 20 years old. It feels very weird.

In an interview with Glamour in 2023, the actress shared how the show has been a huge part of her life, but she is now ready to move on to new things in her life. She said,

When you’re ready, you’re like, ‘Alright, let’s do this. Let’s tackle this last senior year. Let’s get out of here.’ Stranger Things takes up a lot of time to film, and it’s preventing me from creating stories that I’m passionate about, so I’m ready to say, ‘Thank you and goodbye’. When it ends, I’m going to be able to still see these people.

The actress, who has been highly lauded for her exceptional work on the show, had to withstand the scrutiny, invasion of her privacy, and much more when she started, especially during the press tours. She was labeled as a ‘brat’, ‘an idiot’, ‘trying to steal the thunder’, and much more. Talking about that, she said,

We’re kids. We talk over each other. I was just penalized for overtalking, talking and over-sharing, and being too loud. It’s hard to hear that at 13. You’re like, ‘I don’t want to ever talk again. I don’t want to be a loud person. In interviews, I couldn’t help but think of all the comments. So I just remembered to stay silent and speak when I was spoken to, even though I was dying to join in. I just felt it wasn’t my turn.

Over the years, the young actress has understood how to tackle such situations. She has also transformed herself into a powerful adult woman, managing both her personal and professional growth. From starring in movies including Enola Holmes and Damsel to publishing her novel; Nineteen Steps and launching her skincare and makeup company Florence by Mills, Brown has come a long way and has no plans to stop.

She will soon be appearing alongside Chris Pratt in The Electric State, i.e., a post-apocalyptic adventure movie from the Russo Brothers.

Millie Bobby Brown found comfort in her now-husband Jake Bongiovi

The young actress surprised everyone when it was reported that she and her fiancé, Jake Bongiovi, were married. The actress, in her interview with Glamour, shared,

He’s so kind. And his heart is just loving, wonderful, and smart. He doesn’t want me to be a stereotypical wife for him. He wants me to go and do my thing and live my life, and he will hold my hand in the process of that.

She adds that she is thankful that his family has been wonderful in accepting her and embracing her presence, adding that it’s wonderful to find a second family.

The actress has over the years figured out a way to tackle being young and make her presence count in the industry. The final season of Stranger Things will be an emotional goodbye to the characters that the audience seems to have been attached to since 2016. It is also going to be an expression of appreciation for the young cast members who paved their way into the hearts of the people with their work.

Users online reacted to Bobby Brown’s first look from the upcoming season, and one of them wrote, ‘She started at 10, and she’s a wife now’, with another writing, ’I missed her much’. Her fans, who have admired her work as Eleven, want her to be a part of another ‘normal’ series, as they believe that she’d be good at it.

A lot of viewers seem to be excited about the final season and are hoping, just like Noah Schnapp, for season five to ‘be the best season yet’.

Stranger Things season 1-4 is streaming on Netflix.
