There has always been a road full of obstacles for Meghan Markle ever since she became part of the royal family. Her marriage to Prince Harry brought her to leave her career behind, but that in turn let her pursue Markle’s activism and her love for social work.

The rules and regulations in turn became too suffocating for her to be able to handle and so she and Prince Harry then decided moving to The United States of America where they could start a new life for the pair and their children. Meghan Markle thought entering the royal family would give her more power
A royal insider claimed in a new book by Valentine Low titled The Hidden Power Behind the Crown, that they thought Meghan Markle thought she would become the Beyonce of the UK if she married Prince Harry. “I think Meghan thought she was going to be the Beyonce of the UK” stated the royal insider.
“In the spring of 2017, more than six months before the couple were engaged, she told one of Harry’s advisers: ‘I think we both know I’m going to be one of your bosses soon.'”
Naturally, marrying a Prince of the family would come along with the expectation of having more authority and power. It seems that Meghan Markle was not invulnerable to this expectation. The Duchess of Sussex may have got power and authority on her mind, however, fate had other plans for her.
Elizabeth II did not do any favors for the Duchess of Sussex
The life of royals has come to the forefront after Queen Elizabeth II passed away. Her decisions are now re-examined and appreciated. One such speculated decision of her is that she made sure that no rules will be bent for Megan Markle.
“Being part of the royal family would give her that kudos. What she discovered was that there were so many rules that were so ridiculous she couldn’t even do the things she could do as a private individual. There was a very clear view: you can’t be in and out. Compromise was off the table. Removed by the queen.”
After Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s resignation as senior royals had been announced, the Queen’s heartbroken response was made public. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced publicly that they would cease serving as working royals at the beginning of 2020. Her Majesty was allegedly wounded by the choice that resulted in the statement, according to a person close to her.
Meghan Markle is achieving her goals separate from the royal family
The Duchess of Sussex’s recent Spotify partnership has increased its popularity and prosperity to unprecedented heights. Even The Joe Rogan Experience, the most popular podcast on Spotify, was overwhelmed by it. It is simple to compare the couple’s popularity to that of the Kardashians. Now the majority of their notoriety comes from their podcasts, interviews, and possibly even their planned Netflix documentary.
