Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have made themselves quite popular after their recent podcast. They even visited the Royal Kingdom after making a return to the UK. Their last presence was quite an eventful piece that made headlines for months on end. However, upon visiting this time around, the couple did not get any sort of interaction with Prince William and Kate Middleton. This is due to Prince Harry immediately making his last interaction with Queen Elizabeth into something that he could tell the media in order to stay relevant.
Bethenny Frankel is an American businesswoman, philanthropist, and author. As an entrepreneur herself, the businesswoman has not shied away from speaking the truth about Meghan Markle’s business decisions. The author has taken quite a disliking to how the Duchess Of Sussex has managed to go from having such power and riches to becoming a celebrity attending interviews.
Meghan Markle and her latest deal with Spotify
A three-year, $15 million–$18 million podcast deal with Spotify was reached by Meghan Markle and her husband. “Archetypes” which aims to “investigate the labels that try to hold women back” is the first podcast to debut as part of the exclusive partnership.
Along with their partnership with Spotify, the duo, who are beginning to work outside of the royal family, have committed to a variety of additional business and streaming endeavors. They have even teased about a documentary being in the making. It is aimed at showing the side of their love story that no one has got to see yet.
Bethenny Frankel was told to keep her words to herself
The news originates from a viral TikTok video uploaded by Bethenny Frankel herself. The entrepreneur revealed that she has had a lot of constructive criticism which she would like to share. However, the mere idea of besmirching the name of the Duchess of Sussex put a target behind her back. “I remember talking about this before the Oprah interview and getting death threats and losing major deals and having many A-list people text me saying that they agree with me secretly.” Bethenny Frankel stated.
These threats were mainly anonymous. However, the Skinnygirl founder mentioned the fact that there were a few texts that belonged to associates of Meghan Markle herself. “but then friends of hers text me, ‘Please take down what you said.’” she stated.
Even though Bethenny Frankel was threatened multiple times, she went on to state what she had in her mind. “She is a terrible, terrible businessperson, strategist — she’s playing checkers, not chess — because she is overplaying her hand, and she is painting herself into a corner, becoming a woman without a country.” Even if her words may be harsh in nature, one cannot deny the fact that it is all true at the moment.
The businesswoman calls out Meghan Markle for her terrible decisions
The Duchess of Sussex has fallen down from the life that she used to lead. The business decision made by Meghan Markle seems to be more similar to a Kardashian than a member of the royal family. The businesswoman further added on by stating,
“The plight of being a game show host, fairly unknown actress, to suffering in a palace, w tiaras & 7 figure weddings for TWO WHOLE YEARS to being a household name w @Oprah on speed dial, fetching 7 m for interviews, hundreds of millions in media deals.”
There seems to be some sort of frustration coming from Bethenny Frankel. As her words sound almost envious of the previous life that Meghan Markle used to live.
