The last 12 months have seen Tom Brady get separated from perhaps two loves of his life. In October of 2022, his divorce with Gisele Bündchen was finalized after 13 years of marriage. A few months later, he hung his boots for good, announcing the end of his 23-year career in the NFL.
But now he appears to be a free man, making news with his free-wheeling antics. Widespread reports in July claimed the 46-year-old had a sleepover at his Los Angeles home with supermodel Irina Shayk. A Page Six report even added the pair were seen “getting touchy-feely” in the superstar’s car.
Brady announced his first retirement in February of 2022, and in the space of 40 days, he returned back to his old chomping ground. If you think that’s a fast turnaround, then the speed at which his romance with the Russian beauty is intensifying might stun you.
An insider has told Life & Style: “Tom and Irina are moving super fast and see each other often. They actually have a few more getaways coming up.”
The pair only linked up in May and they are already exchanging gifts. While Brady buys her flowers and sends s*xy texts throughout the day, the 37-year-old takes the romance up a notch by gifting him underwear.
Even their friends seem to have joined the hype train regarding their fling, with a previous report claiming they think this could go the distance.
Why Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen Broke Up
Like Brady’s decorated NFL career, his relationship with Bündchen stood the test of different situations and times for many years, before eventually coming to a sad but peaceful end. The Brazilian supermodel talked about the split by saying she has been mourning “the death of my dream.”
Many fans and media outlets alike confused causation with correlation and deduced that it was Brady’s decision to not part ways with his own dream of playing that led to his split with the love of his life.
The 43-year-old model, who met with Brady for the first time in 2006, refuted these claims. Instead, her reason for the divorce was simply and poetically put: “Sometimes you grow together; sometimes you grow apart.”
Further, in a most sporting way, Bündchen insisted they aren’t playing against each other and are still a team, as they look to raise their two kids amicably.
