It is no secret that Jason Momoa is one of the most popular and dashing actors in the world today. Despite his talent as well as his physique, he lost his toned figure for a moment due to a difficult situation, but he recovered from it with determination. He is, however, working on developing a toned body after he underwent a hernia surgery in March 2022, but he has been advised not to do heavy core exercises after that.
The Aquaman actor last year appeared on The Late Late Show With James Corden with Kristen Bell where they discussed Jason Momoa’s ‘Dad-Bod’ body and how he feels about it. However, Kristen Bell came under fans’ radar due to her obsession with the Aquaman star’s style and defending his dad-bod.
Jason Momoa Claims To Have A ‘Dad Bod’
During his appearance on The Late Late Show With James Corden in August 2022, Aquaman star Jason Momoa, 43, revealed that he is completely healthy and fit, but he has lost some muscle tone since he underwent surgery for a hernia earlier in the year. In addition, there are some core exercises the actor admitted he hasn’t been doing becauseofthe surgery, including sit-ups. When asked how he is doing now by the show host, Momoa joked that he has developed a dad-bod as a result of his surgery.
James Corden asked Momoa during the interview,
“You had a hernia surgery. How are you feeling you all recovered?
Momoa replied very calmly,
“Not really doing sit-ups. Trying to keep that dad bod going for a little bit longer.”
He added,
“You can’t say you’ve got a dad bod!” Corden replied incredulously about the famously muscular actor. “You can’t. It’s not a dad bod.”
“Well, I don’t want to do any more sit-ups!”
The 43-year-old actor attended the 94th Academy Awards next day after his operation and shocked his fans. The Aquaman star underwent surgery for a hernia in March of 2022 after wrapping up work on the sequel to the film Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, which is set for release in cinemas on 25 December 2023.

Aftee the surgery, Momoa attended The Late Late Show With James Corden with fellow guest Kristen Bell in August 2022. Kristen Bell defended him during his discussion with James Corden on the show about developing his dad-bod.
After Momoa answered to show the host that he is no longer doing sit-ups due to the hernia surgery that he had, Bell defended him and replied to Corden, “He can say anything he wants!”
By responding to this she silenced Corden for a while and startled him, then she clarified,
“Okay i’m sorry i’m in his web i’m like i’m i’m in this there’s a lot of rhythm coming from over here.”
Then Corden responded,
“I’m not putting any rhythm out there what rhythm are you.”
Then Kristen Bell replied,
“It’s like what like rhythm are you feeling you know some people have like rhythm and they don’t even know.”
“Either you (addressing Momoa) didn’t know you shoot out rhythm everywhere.”
When the actress sat next to fellow guest Momoa on the show, she got a bit flustered as she got up and confessed her love for him. However, fans caught her reactions to Momoa’s dad-bod discussion.
