‘So Much Harder To Walk Away’: WWE Diva Nikki Bella Reveals Breaking Up With Peacemaker Actor John Cena Was How She Knew ‘God is Good’
Nikki Bella and her twin sister Brie Bella will appear in the upcoming Biography: WWE Legends series on A&E. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Nikki Bella talked about her 6-year-long relationship with the WWE star-turned-actor, John Cena.

In the interview, she talked about how hard it was for her to move on from the relationship after it was ended, she said,
“You almost wish it was bad because it’s so much easier to walk away. It’s so much harder to walk away when it’s loving. I think a lot of women get into that situation and it’s like, ‘But I love this person, but I don’t know if it’s right for my life,’ and that’s a hard thing about life, is we meet amazing people, but sometimes we’re just meant to live a different life”
The couple ended their relationship in 2018.

The American professional wrestler revealed that she “kept praying”
During the interview she recalled,
“I kept praying so hard and then I just got this feeling so deep in my gut of, like, ‘I need to walk away.’ And no one thought I would, but it was hitting me so hard. I just knew that I didn’t want to bring a child into a relationship that I didn’t know if this life was right for them and I went with it, and then Artem came waltzing into my life”
Artem Chigvintsev is her now-fiancé; who was paired with her during her 2017 appearance on the dancing reality show Dancing With The Stars.

Nikki Bella got engaged to Artem Chigvintsev in November 2019
After her breakup in 2018, she got in touch with Artem Chigvintsev once again. Things worked between them and the pair publicly announced their relationship in July 2019. The two then got engaged in November 2019 and in July 2020, welcomed a son, Matteo.
