Fans Find Something Off With Aquaman 2 Teaser

After the back-to-back disappointments of fans with the high use of VFX in superhero films, DCEU has released the first Teaser of Amber Heard’s Aquaman 2 filled with visual effects. While some fans were happy to see the teaser of the movie after a long wait, many seemed to find something fishy with the VFX.

Taking on Twitter (Currently X) DCEU fans have discussed the use of VFX in the upcoming Aquaman 2, comparing it to James Gunn’s The Flash. Talking about this on the social media platform one of the users said that something is off with the CGI.

Other said that the whole movie seemed to be off and should have been given straight to HBO Max.

Another user just went ahead and said that it feels like The Flash.

One user went into the details talking about how the entire teaser missed shadows in its VFX.

Another user stated that in comparison to the Aquaman 1 this one looks very bad.

While fans continue to discuss the VFX the movie is said to release on 20th December this year.

VFX: The Trouble for Disney  

Industrial Lights and magical special effects have been the major backbone of Disney and its franchises like Marvel, Pixar, Star Wars, and others. While the studio has amazed fans over the years with the use of this technology, its recent movies have been criticized for the same.

The year 2023 has been proven very disappointing for the firm at the box office as many high-budget movies like Ant-Man 3, The Flash, and other has not lived up to Disney standards. While many movies gained commercial success it has not satisfied the fans.

In the wake of box office disappointment, many fans and critics have blamed the heavy use of VFX by the studio in its recent release. Fans blame the heavy use of VFX in many recent movies like Doctor Strange 2, Thor Love and Thunder, Ant-Man 3, and Secret Invasion has made the movies feel weightless and floaty leading to lose emotional stakes of the fans’ engagement with the movie.
