‘Spent Years With Depression’: Brad Pitt Opens Up on Personal Life Struggles, Wins the Internet
Hollywood star Brad Pitt is among the top-tier personality who is considered to be one of the last actors in the fast-changing industry. He has been given over 30 years in the Hollywood industry and won hearts with his many acclaimed performances. He has been in the headlines this week as he opens up on his emotional state after splitting up with Angelina Jolie.

Brangelina had a pretty messy relationship as they dated for years before getting married in 2014 and had kids over the years. However, they filed for divorce after two years of their marriage, citing irreconcilable differences. Recently, the actor has openly talked about his mental and physical state after his breakup with Angelina Jolie.
Hollywood Star Brad Pitt Shared That He Struggled From Low-Grade Depression
In an interview with GQ magazine, he revealed that he has struggled with “low-grade depression” for years and shared how it affected his emotional state, despite performing well professionally, even with that, he managed to overcome that phase. The actor said, “I think joy’s been a newer discovery, later in life. I was always moving with the currents, drifting in one way, and onto the next. I think I spent years with low-grade depression, and it’s not until coming to terms with that, trying to embrace all sides of self—the beauty and the ugly—that I’ve been able to catch those moments of joy.”
The Actor Shared How Lonely He Felt In His Life

He also opened up about being alone and shared his thoughts on growth. “I always felt very alone in my life, alone growing up as a kid, alone even out here, and it’s really not till recently that I have had a greater embrace of my friends and family. What’s that line, it was either Rilke or Einstein, believe it or not, but it was something about when you can walk with the paradox, when you carry real pain and real joy simultaneously, this is maturity, this is growth.”

The 58-year-old star also shared that he was having dreams about stalkers coming out of the darkness to stab him. Though, he learned to control those dreams and discovered through them that he’s been feeling alone and completely unsafe.
The Hollywood star will be seen in the Bullet Train which is set to be released on August 2, 2022.
