The images were released alongside an interview with Tom Holland, in which he discussed working with Alfred Molina and the current Spider-Man franchise’s end. The first image shows Peter outside the Sanctum Sanctorum in his black and scarlet outfit. In the second, MJ goes on a thrilling ride.

Holland went on to talk about how great it was to work with MJ actress Zendaya and Jacob Batalon, who plays Ned Leeds, his best friend.

“The first film, [director] Jon Watts and I were sort of flying by the seat of our pants,” Holland said in the interview. “This one, I think we both felt really confident, so we were able to relax. We actually had so much more fun on this one than we did on the previous two.”

“We’ve been making these films for five years now,” Holland said. “We’ve had such an amazing relationship, the three of us. We’ve been with each other every step of the way. We’ve done every single film, every single press tour. So this one scene, [we didn’t know] if this would be the last time [we were all working together.] [It] was heartbreaking but also really exciting because we’re all moving into the next chapter of our careers. So sharing that moment with them was maybe the best day I’ve ever had on set. I don’t think I’ve cried like that ever.”

Despite how well the entire crew has collaborated and had fun, creating the big franchise is still a serious undertaking. Things are considerably more tricky now that No Way Home has blown open the multiverse.

“If you’re not willing to focus and do the prep work, you’re going to get called out,” Holland said. “Because when you’re dealing with magic spells and dimensions, it really gets complicated.”

Along with Molina reprising his role as Doctor Octopus, Jamie Foxx will reprise his role as Electro — or a variant of the character — in the forthcoming Spider-Man picture. According to rumours, Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and other performers from past Spider-Man movies will appear in the film, which will be released on December 17th.
