After a series of embarrassing incidents at ABC News surfaced in the media, T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach are openly expressing their love. Following the Daily Mail’s publication of their images in November last year, the couple has been having a difficult couple of months following their relationship news. The network has received both internal and external criticism since then.

In the interest of spreading rumors about anything from Holmes’ prior relationships to how things are developing at ABC behind the scenes, fans rant through social media posts, tabloids follow them through their half-marathon times, and Holmes’ other relationships have been the talk of the tabloids ever since. The two have stopped keeping their relationship a secret from the media after ABC announced their exit from the network this January.

Holmes, who had been married to Marilee Fiebig since 2010, filed for divorce from his wife two days after the images of him surfaced with his co-anchor in New York City. Amy Robach held off on disclosing her separation from her former husband, Andrew Shue, until just after her affair with her GMA3 co-anchor, T.J. Holmes, became public. After ABC learned about their romance, the network decided to run a brief investigation into the nature of the couple’s relationship.

It was reported that Holmes allegedly had relationships with three other staff members, including Natasha Singh, Jasmin Pettaway, and an unnamed junior employee. The story continued to make headlines, and on December 5, ABC President Kim Godwin told the board that Robach and Holmes would no longer be appearing on broadcast and said that their affair had become an internal and external distraction. Godwin further states that even if the affair between Holmes and Robach did not violate company rules, the members’ choice to remove them from their anchor positions was essential for the GMA brand.

Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes’ colleagues are keeping their distance from them

According to recent reports published by Radar Online, on Good Morning America, former anchors Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes have received the silent treatment from their former colleagues. Amid the news of their affair, the network had its own policy for the couple to be removed from their positions, but it looks like ABC had even asked their employees to maintain their distance from the former employees.

“Inside ABC, it’s like Amy and T.J. never existed,” a source told the outlet.“Their offices have been emptied and their pictures removed. Staffers are encouraged to never mention their names again.” Another source claimed, “Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos have had zero contact with them after years of working together. The TV business is rough.” Another insider said they’ve all moved on to the idea of working without the departed couple.

The same publication reported that prior to receiving her substantial pay, Amy Robach intended to expose her coworkers in a tell-all book. Before the lovers were paid off to resign from their posts on GMA3, a source reported that she was being defiant and smiling in the face of the firing squad at ABC.
