Star Trek: The Next Generation’s Brent Spiner’s Secret Talent: He Has Voiced the Most Iconic Supervillain of All Time
In the world of animation filled with mighty heroes, there also exist some of the most iconic and notorious supervillains of all time. And voicing one of them is literally a blessing, just as Star Trek actor Brent Spiner took over as the Clown Prince of Crime in a 2010 animated series.
Most of us know Brent Spiner for playing Android Data in Star Trek, but apart from his famous role, the actor also voiced DC’s most intriguing and formidable supervillain, Joker in Young Justice. The animated series debuted in 2010 on Cartoon Network and ran for four successful seasons.

Star Trek is considered one of the world’s most famous and accomplished franchises, with super engaging and exciting projects. Acclaimed actor Brent Spiner, received critical acclaim for playing the most beloved and iconic Lieutenant Commander Data in the franchise. To this day, Star Trek fans commend Spiner for his contribution to engaging viewers with his portrayal.

However, one of his secret talents that many fans might not know is Spiner’s voice acting skills. The actor’s voice was so impactful that he landed the role of DC’s most iconic and Batman’s main adversary Joker (via Cbr). Brent Spiner joined the Young Justice cast as the jester of genocide in 2010 when the animated series debuted on Cartoon Network for the first time.
Soon after the first seasons, the animated show gained whispered popularity and a strong fanbase that led to a total of four successful seasons. Brent Spiner’s Joker only appeared once in the 14th episode of season 1, titled Revelation. The Clown Prince of Crime entered as one of the seven members of an Injustice League, who successfully managed to launch terrorist attacks around the globe.
Appearing in just one episode of season 1, Joker played a crucial role, as at the end of episode 14 it was revealed that despite being the most notorious villain, the tables turned on Joker as he wasn’t part of the larger plan crafted by Light.

When Will Young Justice Season 5 Arrive?
With the successful four seasons of Young Justice, fans are curious about when the makers will renew the next season. Currently, there has been no official confirmation on Young Justice season 5, but actor Nolan North who voiced Superboy expressed enthusiasm and acknowledged the success of the animated series.

The Uncharted star mentioned the fanbase and how incredibly the series was received. North himself expressed hope for the fifth season and said (via ScreenRant):
“Well, we have Warner Brothers people on the Zoom right now, I’m telling you guys, we can do this. We can make another season. I don’t know, I’m not privy to that. I know it’s a hit. I know fans want it desperately.”
The actor is enthusiastic about the next season, but since it hasn’t been officially renewed, fans along with the cast members have to wait.
