Despite portraying the character of one of the biggest superheroes onscreen, Henry Cavill has a fear of flying. It is a bit difficult to digest that the Superman of Hollywood has a fear of flight.

Henry Cavill Talks About His Fear Of Flying And Admits Taking The Support Of His Dog Kal

Despite having the power of flight as Superman, Henry Cavill has an ironic fear of flying and admits that he is dependent on a support dog. Reputed media outlet TMZ shared a video in 2015 that showed Henry Cavill accompanied by his dog in a service dog vest at LAX.

During an interview with Good Morning Britain in 2015, the Justice League star spoke about his dog Kal and admitted that he loves to bring along his dog as he makes traveling enjoyable. He said-

“I like to take my dog with me as it makes things nicer.”

The loyal companion of Henry Cavill even made an appearance during the photo shoot conducted by Men’s Journal in 2018. The American Akita had joined the actor on a motorcycle for a pose. He even mentioned that his dog is his best buddy. He said-

“What’s not great about Kal? He’s my best buddy. He’s stubborn. He drags a lot of attention away from me, which is excellent. He comes to set as well, and it’s just having that little bit of light there for me, personally, I love it.”

Henry Cavill Believes His Dog Kal Is His Saviour

During the promotion of the second season of The Witcher, Henry Cavill spoke about his loyal companion and confessed that he is not just his best buddy but also his support system. He had also brought his dog Kal, along with himself in a 2021 interview with the famous media outlet CNN. He said-

“He really is my best friend. We go everywhere together. He’s eight now and he has saved my emotional, psychological bacon plenty of times.”

While talking about how he has trained his dog, he mentioned-

“And as a precaution, I’ve trained Kal to be pretend to be a taxidermied dog, so that he can burst into life in the even of a tricky question.”

Ever since ancient times, dogs have been a man’s best friend. According to Henry Cavill, Kal always looks out for him and ends up making a lot of noise if he cannot reach out to him.
