Tatiana Maslany Channels Inner She-Hulk, Blasts Disney CEO Bob Iger After His Shamelessly Ignorant Comments on SAG-AFTRA Strike: “I think he’s completely out of touch”
In a stunning turn of events, Tatiana Maslany versatile actor of Hollywood has unleashed her inner She-Hulk as she gets mad at Disney CEO Bob Iger’s comments on the ongoing SAG- AFTRA strike. The labor dispute in the entertainment industry is getting worse day by day as both actors and writer goes on strike. In a similar situation, the comments from Iger have sparked more anger in the industry with Maslany lashing out.

Tatiana Maslany the She-Hulk of the entertainment industry has come out in support of the ongoing SAG-AFTRA Strike. Ever since the laborer strikers in the entertainment industry started many actors and writers have showcased their support towards this movement and one of the active participants among them has been Tatiana Maslany.
Tatiana who is currently working on Broadway in Grey House has joined the actors and writers who are fighting against the low pay rates that they are being provided. “I have friends who have been doing this for 30 to 40 years and have lost their health care because the minimums are so relatively low, but wages have gone down, people’s quotes no longer stand for anything,” Maslany said. “It’s just like we’ve been completely cast aside.”
Talking about Iger she said, “I think he’s completely out of touch. He’s completely out of touch with the workers who make his shows happen, who make people watch these shows, who bring viewers to him and him money,”
“Having worked on a Disney show, I know where people fall through the cracks and where people are taken advantage of and it’s outrageous the amount of wealth that is not shared with the people who actually make the show. That’s crew, cast, writers,” she continued.
What is the SAG-AFTRA Strike all about?
For the first time in 63 years, Hollywood has seen an industry shutdown as both Screen Actors Guild and Writers Guild go on strike at the same time. Since May 2, Writers from the industry have been on the picket line whereas Actors Guide announced their involvement in the strike on July 13 at midnight. This entire protest only aims at increasing the pay rates of all the writers and authors in the industry. The SAG-AFTRA is demanding third-party involvement to measure the success of a show as well as its earning. Many entertainment companies denied this idea which has prolonged the strike hampering the release of different films.

One such film is Challengers staring, Zendaya, Mike Faist and Josh O’Connor. The movie which was supposed to hit the theater on September 15 has been push to forward to April 26 2024 according to Deadline.
With the support of actors like Tatiana Maslany, and other stars of the industry the actors and writers have been able to voice out their concerns more effectively.
