Taylor Swift, Drake Reportedly Team Up for Kanye West-Kim Kardashian Diss Track, Are Now Toning Down an Earlier Version Because It Was ‘Too Direct’
Popstar Taylor Swift is reportedly planning to take down her old feud partners Kim Kardashian and Kanye West by collaborating with Canadian rapper Drake to release a diss track about the ex-couple. Both the celebrities had a long history with the former couple, with Swift becoming one of their foes after they continuously threw shade at Swift in West’s 2016 Famous song.

The 32-year-old singer Taylor Swift and the 35-year-old rapper, Drake has recently reignited their collaboration rumors by releasing a track that could take down their old foe Kanye West along with his ex-wife Kim Kardashian.
According to the reports by The U.S. Sun, the duo had recorded a secret song together during sessions for her 2017 album Reputation. Though the track was not able to get included as “it was deemed to be too direct about their foes at the time.”
The outlet claimed that the singer wants to include the track in the re-release of the Reputation (Taylor’s Version) album.
A source told the outlet, “Taylor has pivoted her focus to re-recording Reputation and she has come across this song she made with Drake, which never saw the light of day.”
“She knows that everyone is going to think it is about Kimye because it was her row with them which inspired a lot of Reputation. But this one is far more direct than the other songs, which was why they didn’t decide to release it in the first place,” the source told the outlet.
The insider also shared, “Obviously she is totally over the whole thing now but this is one which fans will want to hear.”
She is recording the old album due to another issue that recently garnered media coverage. According to reports, music producer Scooter Braun had bought the rights to her first six albums with the singer claiming it was done without her knowledge.

Taylor Swift’s decade-long feud with former couple KimYe got strained when West claimed “I made that b***h famous” on his 2016 song Famous.
Not only that, but he also claimed that he decided to release the song with the approval of the Blank Space singer however the former claimed to have no idea about the same.
Things got more escalated when West’s then-wife was involved in their drama siding with her partner,
“She totally knew that that was coming out. She wanted to all of a sudden act like she didn’t. I swear, my husband gets so much shit for things [when] he really was doing proper protocol and even called to get it approved.”
The SKIMS founder also leaked a recording of the duo discussing the track although it was later exposed that Swift was not informed about the content he added for the singer.
Taylor Swift’s Midnights is due to be unveiled this month.
