Ted Lasso Star Jason Sudeikis Reportedly Willing To Pay ‘Reasonable Amount’ in Child Support Despite Ex-Wife Olivia Wilde’s $25M Fortune
Amid the drama surrounding her movie Don’t worry Darling and its cast members, Olivia Wilde has also been dealing with another huge issue. And it is the legal battle following her split from her ex-partner Jason Sudeikis. The case is active at the moment with an upcoming face-off between their lawyers soon. The main point of the legal battle is over child custody matters including child support.
The pair have different ideas as to where the whole case will take place. Wilde wants everything to be settled in Los Angeles and even wants the children to remain there. There has been another development in the case and it has been filed by Wilde’s side about Sudeikis dragging the case into the public scenario. But recently he reportedly agreed to pay his share for child support.
Jason Sudeikis Agrees to Pay Olivia Wilde Child Support Amount
For those who might not be updated, Olivia Wilde has been embroiled in a legal case following her separation from her ex Jason Sudeikis. The former couple separated after 7 years of being together back in 2020. But as they share two kids (Otis Alexander and Daisy Josephine), the inevitable child custody battle is on at the moment. In addition to that, the two have also been having a long dispute over where the court case will take place. While Sudeikis wants it to be held in New York, Wilde is adamant about Los Angeles. Reportedly, she wants her children to remain in California.
Even though the Don’t Worry Darling star is financially stable (Wilde’s net worth is 25 million dollars), her ex is ready to pay a “reasonable amount” on child support as per TMZ.
Furthermore, according to Wilde’s lawyer, Sudeikis has far more wealth than the In Time star. And she seems to be aware of this. That is why it has been easier for the Ted Lasso star to file as many lawsuits against his former partner as he wants to. As far as it is known, their split turned out to be a “contentious” one. And even though it ended in amicable terms, the custody case helped turn it bad.
What was Their Split About?
Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis met back in 2011 while the latter worked in SNL (Saturday Night Live). As their romance took off, a year later the Ted Lasso star proposed to Wilde. And in 2013, the In Time star revealed to Allure that she found Sudeikis “charming”.
However, their relationship came to an end in 2020 after seven years together within which they had two kids. The reason according to reports had simply been a case of falling out of romantic feelings for each other.
