A fan of Avengers: Endgame took to the internet sharing his version of Thanos‘ sword. But it’s not made of any of the strongest metals in Marvel Universe. It’s just cardboard boxes we throw out. Don’t mistake it with any flimsy toy or cosplay prop. It looks exactly like the super villain’s double sided sword. EpicCardboardProps did a splendid work in replicating the sword. The fan took to Reddit to show this amazing handiwork.

The Double Edged Sword

The double edged sword wielded by Thanos in Endgame was strong enough to break Captain America’s shield. The shield was made with of the most powerful metals of the Earth including Vibranium. This proves that whatever  the sword was made of is stronger than any metal on earth. Eventually, it was damaged by Scarlet Witch in the Battle of the Earth. Doubts loom around the swords making and powers still make fans come up with theories.

Scarlet Witch Against Thanos in Endgame

Apart from fans, even the crew of the Avengers: Endgame have their own theories about the sword. Director Joe Russo says, “Clearly Thanos is a thousand-year-old character who has fought everyone in the universe and is the greatest: He’s the Genghis Khan of the universe, so he would have the greatest weapon.” He also said, “He knows of Eitri, he’s been to Eitri to have his glove created. Did he have them create his blade as well? Potentially. But it’s interesting that it could destroy the shield.” With the director having such theories it is obvious for the fans to come up with many more.
