Jay Leno shares his opinion about Blake Lively-Justin Baldoni’s legal drama

Gossip Girl star Blake Lively and her legal battle with It Ends With Us co-star and director Justin Baldoni are some of the things that are most talked about these days. During the press tour of the movie, It Ends With Us, many fans and publications noticed the absence of Baldoni while the rest of the cast appeared and promoted the movie. It was later reported that things hadn’t been okay between the lead pair, which is why they were promoting the movie separately.

Where Blake Lively was reportedly promoting the movie like a romantic drama, Baldoni’s approach was spot on with the theme of the movie, i.e., addressing the abusive relationship and domestic violence. The difference between the duo’s promotion led to Lively receiving backlash from the audience and Baldoni receiving praise.

However, in December 2024, Blake Lively filed a lawsuit against the actor-director, accusing him and his production team of s**ual harassment, along with claiming that Baldoni had started a PR campaign against her to tarnish her image.

Their legal battle is turning out to be messier than ever, and a lot of people have been sharing their ‘opinions’ on the same. Former The Tonight Show host Jay Leno is the latest person to react to their legal drama. In conversation with Kjersti Flaa, the host was asked if he has been following the legal drama between Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively, to which he said,

Yeah. No, that just seems silly to me. I don’t know. I can’t say.

Leno further stated that California is on fire and people are coughing through flames with pointing. He does not know how many people are following Blake Lively. The host shared with the comedian that she was in the viral video that came out during the press tour of the movie where Lively wasn’t ‘being nice’ to the interviewer.

Lively received backlash for the same, to which Leno said he read about it but didn’t bother to click, but now he will.

Baldoni recently filed a lawsuit against Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds after filing a lawsuit against The New York Times. The actor claims that it was the actress who had caused acrimony on the set and accused her of using her ‘star power’ to flip the narrative, especially after witnessing the public going against her during the press tour. The filing read,

Had Lively chosen to merely ride out the self-inflicted press catastrophe she faced in August 2024, the public would likely have moved on and never known the truth about her. They would have never known that she deliberately and systematically robbed Justin Baldoni and Wayfarer of their movie.

Lively had accused the actor-director of harassing her on the sets of It Ends With Us, claiming that he added unwanted intimate scenes, shared unsolicited information about his personal life, and so much more. The actress reportedly did not feel comfortable around the actor as he had created an extremely difficult atmosphere on set for the cast in general.

She also claims that Justin Baldoni hired a PR firm to tarnish her image in the public eye, and she did receive a lot of hate online during the time. A source shared with Page Six that while some suggest that Baldoni would never intentionally make someone feel that way, others have suggested that no one in the cast enjoyed working with the actor.
