‘That shit’s out of there’: Netflix Reportedly Shuts Down Vince McMahon Documentary After Multiple Sexual Harassment Cases Emerge
Vince McMahon, ex-CEO and Chairman of WWE was in news recently for paying over $12 million to four women to cover up affairs. The transaction was done in over the course of 16 years and also included former administrative employees of the company. Amidst the controversy of misconduct, Netflix has seemingly pulled a documentary on the ex-WWE CEO.

As the report from Wall Street Journal revealed Vince McMahon had an affair, but his use of NDAs and “hush money” payments go much deeper than that. Following the incident, Denise Salcedo of Instinct Culture speculated, “Netflix documentary has been pulled & is off the programming spreadsheet at Netflix.” Denise Salcedo also speculated that Netflix said “that shit’s out of here.”

Her second tweet was a continuation of the first one and revealed, “project was already “deep” in post-production & that several talent interviews had been done months ago & that millions were spent.”

Reaction after the news broke about ex-WWE Chairman being involved in the controversy
Netflix docuseries on WWE Chairman is no longer on the programming spreadsheet of the OTT platform. However, following the controversy, Vince McMahon stepped back as CEO and Chairman of WWE, and Stephanie McMahon was announced as the CEO shortly after. Reportedly, the ex-WWE Chairman is unaffected by the allegations ahead of his televised appearances across the labels. Last he was seen on Monday night raw while celebrating the 20-year anniversary of John Cena.

Back in February, WWE Chairwoman Stephanie McMahon revealed that the documentary would have given WWE fans a glimpse of the journey that many hadn’t seen.
“You’re going to learn things you’ve never learned about Vince McMahon. This is his story, it’s his life, and it’s a little-known story. My dad grew up in a trailer park in North Carolina. A lot of people don’t know that.”
Reportedly around five law firms are looking into the brawl in case of any distinctions. No official statement has been released by the WWE for the incident involving Vince McMahon.
