Jonny Lee Miller says he is friends with Angelina Jolie even after Divorce
Angelina Jolie and Jonny Lee Miller first met on the set of their 1995 film Hackers. The actress and Miller played each other’s love interests in the film, and their romance continued in real life. Since it was a young mad love for Jolie and the Elementary actor, they both decided to marry soon. They split up in 1999 due to their hectic schedules and demanding work lives.
Their separation was mutual and there were no hard feelings between the former couple. In an interview during the promotion of his movie T2 Trainspotting, a journalist asked the 50-year-old actor regarding how is his relationship with Jolie, and Miller said,
“Yeah – we’re still friends. That’s all you’re getting.”
Miller refused to answer any further questions about Jolie and didn’t entertain any other questions about his ex-wife. Despite his friendship with Jolie, Miller avoids discussing his relationship with his ex-wife in public.
Billy Bob Thornton has revealed that he is in contact with Angelina Jolie
Thornton and Jolie’s love affair was one of the most controversial news when they first started seeing each other. As Thornton was 20 years older than Jolie, many people found their pairing unusual. She married Thornton in the year 2000 after she broke up with Miller, but their marriage didn’t last either. They parted ways in 2003, but continue to stay friends even after their separation.
19 years after their separation, Thornton talked about his relationship with Jolie in an interview during Tribeca TV Festival. He made it clear to all his fan that he is still friends with his ex-wife. Thornton said,
“We’re good friends. We’ve been friends for years and years and years. So we keep up with each other. She’s not in town a lot, so we don’t see each other much, but we talk.”
Jolie and Pitt’s relationship has been strained since their divorce in 2019. For a long time, the former couple has been fighting with each other over money and children. Pitt and Jolie have 6 children together. Jolie’s fight to keep Pitt from having custody arrangements of their children has been rooted in her accusations of domestic abuse, which were said to be driven by Pitt’s alcoholism and issues with anger management.
